This is a standard study material and its common for most of SSC, PSU exams for mechanical engineering.

SAIL Tips and Previous Experience

(I) Technical : is easy.(Attempt at least 80 questions)(Marks one can easily obtain >50 marks)

3. TOM, SOM
4. FM, FMc
5. PP,IC, Thermo
6. MD
7. RAC




(II) Non Technical(specially emphasis on this portion)(This will decide your selection) :

1.  English(Attempt all) :

Very simple English no need to emphasis on it. Easy Paragraph(5 plus questions) etc.

2.  GK(marks at least 10) :

Simple GK -- Persons in News, Books and Authours, only GK no need to go through vast History, Geography etc)

3.  Aptitude:

Study and Practice(*)Made easy book or RS aggarwal.

Questions mainly from Men and Work, Stocks(*)

4. Reasoning :

Only Verbal and its a mix of Apti questions and some reasoning also.(Refer RS aggarwal)
